Résumé/Summary:

Cette édition de Couleur Marine emmène les téléspectateurs à la découverte d’une merveilleuse petite île à l’est de Maurice, à quelques kilomètres du village côtier de Trou d’Eau Douce : L’île aux cerfs.

L’émission nous propose une visite. Elle nous permet de découvrir la géographie, la vie sociale, la faune et la flore de cette île dont la principale ressource est le tourisme.

This edition of “Colour Marine” introduces viewers to the beautiful Stag Island, which lies east of Mauritius, a few kilometres from the coastal village of Trou d’Eau Douce.
Viewers are taken on a tour of the island, whose economy depends largely on tourism, finding about its geography, social life, fauna and flora.

 

Couleur Marine

Crée en 1964, la Mauritius Broadcatsing Corporation est la Télévision du service public de la République de Maurice.

Le magazine Couleur Marine a pour objectif de répondre à la curiosité grandissante du public pour son environnement marin à travers des sujets exploités aussi bien sur un mode pédagogique que sous l’angle du divertissement. Il est diffusé un lundi par mois à 20h10.

Founded in 1964, the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation is the public broadcasting station of the Republic of Mauritius. The “Navy Blue” magazine intends to satisfy the public’s growing curiosity about its marine environment through topics dealt with either an educational stand point or more as an entertainment. It is broadcast once a month on Monday at 8:10 pm.

 

Jeelany KHODABOCUS

Collaborateur de la Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation depuis 1973, Jeelany Khodabocus a été tour à tour opérateur pour la radio, monteur vidéo, chef d’antenne, responsable de la station MBC à l’île Rodrigues et réalisateur.

Depuis 12 ans, il réalise le journal télévisé du matin, en langue anglaise, et la météo. Il a été responsable du magazine pour les jeunes Tees + 1, d’un programme d’une heure Mixages et d’un magazine de santé Stéthoscope. Actuellement, il dirige le magazine Couleur Marine.

Jeelany Khodabocus has worked for the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation since 1973, starting off as a radio operator before coming a video editor and finally head of the MBC Station on Rodrigues Island and Director. During the last twelve years, he has produced the English-language morning news and the weather forecast, along with programmes such as Teens + 1” , a one hour programme for young people, the regular report programme “Dubbings” and the “Stethoscope” magazine programme on health. Now, he is directing the magazine “Navy Blue”.
